This is all so new. Why now?
Accreditation in MSAs is less than 10 years old, yet we have seen a dramatic growth in the complexity of the Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance Act. The addition of conditional payments, General Liability, Medicare liens, mandatory reporting and complex use of structured settlements has expanded the skill set necessary to provide full service to the industry and all stakeholders. The CMSP program will provide an advanced foundation of knowledge required to meet the comprehensive demands of specialty issues as the Longshore and Harbor Worker¡¯s Compensation Act (LHWCA), the Defense Base Act and the SCHIP Extension Act of 2007.
